To provide: mentoring and advice; performance, publishing and exhibition opportunities; teaching and also learning platforms.
To maintain and develop an energised and vibrant community, where increasing numbers of people enjoy, experience and share the unique culture of the North East of England and its bordering areas.
To be proactive in seeking new opportunities and identifying new funding sources to enhance the heritage and culture experience both for local people and visitors to our region.
To advocate for the North East region; to attract more of the national and international attention it deserves.
