Since then he has played on nearly 100 albums as well as working on many others as producer or composer\/arranger. \u00a0Ian has a lot of experience composing in different genres for various forces including chamber ensemble, choir, folk band and solo guitar. His latest choral piece &#8220;On Another&#8217;s Sorrow&#8221; was included as part of the BBC Choir of the Year competition 2014. Since graduating with a Folk and Traditional music degree in 2005, Ian now teaches contemporary compositional techniques, instrumental lessons and music skills at Newcastle University.
